About the Producer

Naomi Johnson, Creator and Executive Producer

Naomi Johnson entered the federal workforce in 1998 as a Presidential Management Fellow. Naomi worked as an organizational consultant at the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS) and as an HR Policy Specialist at the U.S. Dept.of State . At HHS, Naomi was awarded the Departments top honor, The Secretary's Honor Award, by then-Secretary Tommy Thompson. As a private sector consultant, Naomi worked with FEMA and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.

As a comic, Naomi has performed standup comedy since her college debut in 1991. As a producer, Naomi produced and hosted her own talk show, as well as a sold-out exhibit for PostSecret and Found Magazine, raising over $3500 for 1-800-Suicide in one evening.
